My Story

My Vintage Hand Singer sewing machine is how my business began.

My Name is Laura I am the owner and creator at The Black and Tan Dog Company. I live in the Norfolk countryside with My 3 dogs Hugo, Ada and Edith. Hugo and Ada are both black and tan Jack Russell's and Edith is a Black Cocker Spaniel (hence the company name).

It all started back 2020 when my Mother lent me a hand Singer sewing machine so I could make collars for my own dogs.

I am a small business and all of my products are designed and handmade by myself and a few things by my Mother.

I love Harris Tweed, The beautiful designs and colours it comes in. Being in the country Harris Tweed is very popular where I live and brings that luxury country style to your pets.

I also have a stall which I take to different places so you may have met my dogs and I at different events! I love to go to shows and markets as I get to meet lots of like minded people and their dogs.
